About
Feraklos Films was founded by filmmaker George Patou, who grew up in Charaki, a small seaside village on the island of Rhodes, Greece.
Surrounded by the Mediterranean, history, and island life, George developed an appreciation for the atmosphere and stories hidden in everyday moments.
His path to filmmaking wasn't traditional. After earning a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, George moved from Greece to New York City in 2023, bringing with him a lifelong passion for cinema, photography, and a constant urge to create, build, and bring ideas to life.
That combination became Feraklos Films.
The name is inspired by Feraklos Castle, the medieval fortress overlooking the area near Charaki a connection to where the story began and the foundation for what we're building today.
We bring together an engineer's mindset with a filmmaker's creativity the curiosity to understand how things work, and the instinct to imagine how they could be.
From brands and artists to athletes, events, and stories worth telling, we create cinematic work with intention, energy, and character.
Because for us, making things isn't just what we do.
It's how we see the world.
